1950s PINK PURPLE MURANO NEODYMIUM GLASS SHELL BOWl

Extremely rare large 1950s hand made Murano pink purple neodymium glass pinched shell bowl.

30cm x 22cm x 15cm, in good vintage condition. The largest of its kind, rare offering from our private collection. 

Please note the exterior sommerso is neodymium glass and it’s more bluish colour under white light and more purply under warm light. This is the nature of neodymium glass hence the rarity of this bowl.

This is the queen bee of Murano shell bowls. They costs thousands brand new. She weighs 4kg of glass, absolutely phenomenal piece of glass.
