Rare 1970s Swedish Aseda purple sommerso glass posy vase designed by Bo Borgstrom.

25cm x 7cm, in good condition. Original maker’s sticker still intact.

Åseda Glasbruk was a Swedish glass factory that operated in Åseda, Kronoberg County, between 1947 and 1977. They produced iconic and timeless designed that is highly collectible and sought after now.

Bo Borgström is one of the well known representatives of the illustrious Swedish glass design of the 20th century. He was the artistic leader for the Aseda glassworks in the 1960s-70s. Borgstrom is represented at numerous museums in Sweden.
