1960s FONNISH BLUE GREEN GLAZED SAND VASE BY ANNIKKI HOVISA
Extremely rare blue green ceramic bottle vase by the Finnish artist Annikki Hovisaari. She worked for the Arabia factory in Finland, and this piece is estimated to have been made between 1967 and 1970.
- Hovisaari was known for her unique, one-off pieces, often made with rough chamotte clay.
- The vase features a bold combination of blue, green glazes on an uneven sand textured surface.
28cm x 13cm x 6cm, some wear and scratches consistent with age and use, overall in good condition.
