Shipping policy
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT SHIP TO PO BOX OR PARCEL LOCKER.
We offer a standard shipping rate of $10 on all orders across Australia. We subsidise most of your shipping costs to ensure that you have access to our store for non-Sydney based customers.
NEW ZEALAND ORDERS
Please note our RRP's are inclusive of 10% GST in Australia so all New Zealand orders will be charged 15% at checkout.
For all other countries - shipping rates will be calculated and displayed before checkout. Please note all duties payable (if applicable) once goods arrive in your country outside of Australia is payable by all purchasers. We are not responsible for the non-release of your goods due to non-payment of duties charged by your government.
Expected delivery time for orders to New Zealand is 5-7 business days depending on location. Please note that there may be delays to shipping during busy periods and holidays.
The following shipping options can be selected at checkout:
1. Local pickup - collect from our store when order is ready for collection during business hours.
2. Authority To Leave if no one is present to sign for the delivery.
3. Signature required.
All other international orders placed via the AU website incur rates that will be calculated by a third party delivery service that we contract with.
Please note that the order value thresholds for shipping costs apply to the total value of an order after any discount codes have been applied.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY INFORMATION
Orders for our Australian and New Zealand customers are shipped from our Sydney store. Your GLASS ET CETERA order will be dispatched the same day if ordered before 2pm AEST on a business day. Orders placed after this will be dispatched the following business day.
By placing an order with GLASS ET CETERA, you are responsible for original shipping charges, all applicable custom and duty import fees, and the cost of return shipping back to GLASS ET CETERA. This also applies to any shipments that are refused by you at delivery.
For delivery in Australia and New Zealand we use Sendle. The estimated delivery time for metropolitan areas in Australia is 1-3 business days, and the estimated delivery time for rural or remote areas is 3-5 business days. The estimated time for delivery to New Zealand is 5-7 business days. Please note that there may be delays to these estimated shipping times during busy periods and holidays.
All orders require a signature upon delivery. In the event that no one is present to sign for the parcel, your order will either be left in a safe place or taken to a post office depending on the shipping option you have selected.
If you choose to issue the courier with Authority To Leave so that the order may be delivered without a signature, GLASS ET CETERA is not liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen upon delivery. Orders shipped to New Zealand do not have an Authority To Leave option, so all orders will require a signature on delivery.
Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable and we are unable to change your shipping method once you have placed your order.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you email updates about its progress so you know exactly when to expect it.
DAMAGED OR BROKEN DELIVERY
If your order is damaged or broken upon your receipt, please email us at info@glassetc.shop clear photos of the package or box that item came in, the item in its damaged or broken condition including broken item in the bubble wraps, and a clear photo of the shipping label on the package the item came in. The stated photos are the minimum required proof of damages to initiate full refund of the order from our shipping partner and we won’t be able to help with your refund if you fail to do so.

PACKAGING FOR DELIVERY
For environmental purposes, all of our delivery packaging are second hand recycled boxes, bubble wrap, newspaper and used paper. If you need special packaging or gift wrapping for your purchase please email our customer support at info@glassetc.shop and put in a request within 1 to 2 days of placing your order. Outside of this timeframe your order will be fulfilled as per usual without special packaging.
